Does D1021 support 20VAC, 24VAC ?
D1021 does take 20V but not 24V. The doorbell works the best with a 15 to 20VAC, 10 to 30VA power supply.
Does your doorbell support ACV and DCV?
The doorbell supports mechanical chime. In case the user has pre-installed mechanical chime at home and connects the doorbell to the same transformer that powers this mechanical chime, then the power requirement is 15 to 20VAC, 10 to 30VA.
If there's no mechanical chime, just doorbell, then the doorbell will also support DC 12V.
How many users can be registered to one doorbell?
One doorbell can support up to 4 users. After the initial setup was complete by the home owner, he can invite other users by adding their accounts or by providing them the doorbell password.
How many doorbells can be registered by one account?
One account only can register up to 2 doorbells.
What is the Wi-Fi router requirement?
The doorbell supports 802.11 b/g/n on 2.4GHz WiFi router. It doesn’t support 5GHz Wi-Fi router.
If I replace a new home Wi-Fi router or change home Wi-Fi password, how do I reconnect doorbell to home Wi-Fi router?
Please follow below steps to connect doorbell to new home WiFi router.
Step 1: Click Menu at upper right corner, then select System Settings -> Doorbell Settings -> Device Settings -> Remove doorbell.
Step 2: Press the call button for ten to fifteen seconds to enter Discovery mode (When LED indicator slowly flashes red and green).
Step 3: Click “Add your new Doorbell Camera”, and then follow steps for final Setup.
What is the minimum bandwidth requirement?
Minimum bandwidth requirement will be 1~1.5 Mbps. If we are talking only about the video part, the min bandwidth requirement is 1 Mbps. With the audio coming into the call, the total requirement will increase to 1.5 Mbps.
